2007/2008 season recap: The NSP Youth Group presented "Olivia Twist" which was a smashing success, drawing big crowds, and getting much praise. Next came "Oklahoma!" which featured lots of young singing voices, as well as seasoned stage performers, giving the production a full range of talent and enthusiasm. This was followed by the youth group's production of "The Bard is Back" which warmly received by large audiences. Finally the adult group performed "Moon Over Buffalo" that provided comedy for all, from start to finish.

North Shore Players featured member:
Hal Morse

Hal Morse is one of the hardest working members of the North Shore Players, contributing his efforts to all aspects of the group’s activities.
Hal first joined NSP in 1997 after seeing its production of “Rumors” by Neil Simon. He began helping immediately by working on props for “Twelve Angry Men” and has been helping ever since. His tireless work on set construction is awe inspiring, thanks especially to his superb carpentry skills. In addition to set construction, Hal has developed the North Shore Players web site, organized the prop and costume storage, handled the group’s publicity efforts, and co-produced “I Remember Mama.” Hal was also President of the North Shore Players for the 2007-2008 season.
Hal has been onstage with NSP, both in musicals (“A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” and “Oklahoma!”) and straight plays (“Arsenic and Old Lace” and “You Can’t Take It With You”). His favorite role was Boris Kolenkov- complete with a terrific Russian accent – in “You Can’t Take It With You.”
Born in Connecticut and raised in Massachusetts, Hal lived in Colorado in the 70s and in Wisconsin in the 80s before returning to Massachusetts in the early 90s. The North Shore Players is glad he came back.
