2012 Main Stage Production Schedule

Spring show (2012): 

 The female version of The Odd Couple

  •  Tentative show dates:  May 4, 5 & 6, 2012

Auditions for the Spring of 2012 Play:

The North Shore Players, a community theater group based in Danvers, MA, will be holding auditions for its upcoming production of Neil Simon's classic comedy The Odd Couple.. The production will be the female version of the play, with Oscar and Felix now Olive and Florence.  Auditions will be held at the Hogan Regional Auditorium in Danvers, MA on Thursday January 19, 2012 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Performances are scheduled for June 8, 9 & 10, 2012 with rehearsals beginning in early February on Monday, Thursday and Sunday evenings.  The cast has parts for six female and two male performers.  For more information contact Howard Schneider at 978-590-7290, email boxhoward@verizon.net

Youth Theatre

Spring Musical (2012)

 
  • The Bard is Back A Youth Theatre musical based on a group of high school performers putting on a musical version of Romeo and Juliet while attempting to put to rest the “Shakespearean” ghosts of past productions.
  • As this is a  show about a high school, the majority of roles in this production are for teenagers (or kids who can pass for a teenager). There are a few roles for younger kids and adults.

Roadshow   

 

This years show is going to be a "time traveling trip thru pop music" scanning the 1940's to the 1980's The show will consist primarily of musical numbers filled with lots of song, dance and comical interludes.  The cast will be drawn from both the adult and youth theatre groups.
